Murder will be in the air at an event near Lichfield.
Shugborough Hall will give diners the chance to become amateur sleuths for a murder mystery evening on April 28.
Guests will be expected to pick their way through accusations of affairs and missing money, as well as enjoying dinner in the Lady Walk Restaurant.
A spokesperson said: “The evening of tongue-in-cheek suspense and drama, fittingly entitled Murder on Account, will unfold like a scene from a period drama before each course of dinner, before leading to a climatic whodunit reveal.
“Guests enjoying the dinner can follow the clues to work-out for themselves who the guilty party may be.”
