A charity coffee morning is taking place in Burntwood.
The Midday Mayhem group for young parents at the Springhill Spark centre will hold the event from 12-2pm on September 30 to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Ellie Davison, one of the organisers, said the cause was one close to her heart.
“My mum has recently been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma and is undergoing chemotherapy,” she said. “She was a regular face at the playgroup, helping out and supporting the young families so we wanted to help her give something back by holding a coffee morning and inviting our friends and families along.
“We will also have a brilliant raffle with lots of local company donations.”
