Chasetown FC may not have much to smile about on the pitch of late, but they have been boosted by the news they have been re-instated in the Staffordshire Senior Cup.
The Scholars had originally been knocked out by Rocester in November.
However, the tie has been overturned after the Romans were found to have fielded an ineligible player.
Chris Brindley’s Chasetown side will now entertain Rushall Olympic in the semi-final on Tuesday (March 6), kick-off 7.45pm.
