The brother of a Burntwood teenager who raised more than £3.2million for charity has said that his achievements are a fitting tribute to his life.
Stephen Sutton’s battle with cancer came to an end in the early hours of this morning (May 14).
Despite his deteriorating condition, the 19-year-old had still managed to help raise millions for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
His brother Chris paid tribute to Stephen, saying: “I could sit here all day typing words like inspirational, proud – but frankly his life and what he achieved speaks for itself. It doesn’t need a rambling eulogy from me.
“He’ll still always be a bit of t**t to me. Hey, he was my younger brother, it’s in the contract, but I was blessed to grow up with the best little t**t you could have.
“RIP bro.”
Prime Minister David Cameron was among those who paid tribute to Stephen, saying he was “deeply saddened” by the news of his death.
