A support group for single parents in Burntwood is celebrating its first birthday.
Horizon is a volunteer-run group that provides a support network with weekly sessions.
Based at the Spark Springhill Centre, members are also able to access a monthly advice surgery on housing and financial issues.
A spokesperson said: “We aim to promote positive relationships and highligh the importance of parenting alone as a strength and to encourage these families to feel valued.”
The group meet every Thursday during term time from 9.30am to 11.30am.
