Teenage defender signs for Chasetown FC

Chasetown Football Club have won the race to sign highly-rated teenager Jack Hulin.

The 16-year-old, who has had trials with Portsmouth, agreed to sign for the Scholars, despite competition from elsewhere.

His decision came after discussions with reserve team boss Andy Cox and youth team manager Ian Broad.

Chasetown’s youth setup are currently in preparations for the new season which will see them compete in the Midland Youth Floodlit League Premier Division.

Centre-back Jack told the club’s official website:

“After talking with my father we looked at the big picture and the potential progression within the club was a big factor in my signing for The Scholars.”
