After two-and-a-half years at the forefront of the online news community in the city, we’ve decided the time is right to give the site a new name to reflect the work we do.
Lichfield Live was chosen after consultation with a number of contributors and supporters in recent months.
Founder Ross Hawkes said:
“It’s been a big step to shake off the Blog title, but we think the time is right. The content we produce has evolved and so we felt it was a good time for the site to do the same.
“The Lichfield Blog won’t be forgotten, though, and we have plans for that in the long-run too.
“We hope that the community in Lichfield and Burntwood will continue to support our efforts going forward.”
