MEMBERS of Lichfield Friendship Centre have enjoyed a day at the seaside.
The group – which aims to help ensure older people are not isolated – headed for Llandudno in the first of their summer trips.
Participants, who come from across Lichfield and Burntwood, will also head to Cotswold Wildlife Park and Tenby in future weeks.
A spokesperson said:
“Our varied activity programme has appeal for both men and women – and we’ve seen seven newcomers welcomed at the two latest events.
“We also take part in regular activities such as tenpin bowling, organised walks, a monthly coffee morning and regular lunch parties. Our monthly meetings with guest speakers are held on the third Wednesday of each month in the Guildhall.
