HAMMERWICH Cub Scouts have been taking strides to learn more about local footpaths.
The group of youngsters met with Cllr Dave King from Hammerwich Parish Council to find out about the network of routes in the area.
He handed out a detailed map and discussed how the natural world was connected by the walkways across Hammerwich.
Cllr King said:
"The interest the Scouts have in being part of our precious environment was amazing. That coupled with exercise in the fresh air benefits everyone."
