Unemployment is down in Lichfield and Burntwood.
New figures have shown that the number out of work across the district from May to June fell from 1,492 to 1,398.
Councillor Alan White said: “With all the news of the double dip recession and the financial challenges faced across the district, it is great to be able to celebrate some positive news.
“Employment figures across the whole of Staffordshire have shown improvement so it’s good news all around.”
