Violinist Rachel Podger will make a welcome return to the Lichfield Festival for a late night performance.

After a memorable concert at last year’s event, the founder of the Brecon Baroque Festival will perform at Lichfield Cathedral on 11th July.
A spokesperson said:
“In a glittering career, Rachel has established herself as a leading interpreter of the baroque and classical music periods.
“Her solo programme is taken from her new album featuring preludes, dances, and fugal movements for solo violin from the 17th and 18th centuries.”
