Visitors to a theme park near Lichfield have helped to raise £1,000 for charity.

The money was collected by Drayton Manor Theme Park’s hospitality team during their end of season fireworks event.

The cash will be donated to Help for Heroes.

Colin Bryan, Managing Director of Drayton Manor, said:

“I’d like to thank everyone who made a donation. I’m very proud of Drayton Manor’s reputation for supporting various charities and good causes.

“The armed forces is particularly important to us as my father, George Bryan OBE, who founded the park, served in British Army during the Second World War.”
