STAFF from a housing group have rolled up their sleeves to support a local domestic abuse charity.
The team from Platform Housing Group’s procurement and lettings teams swapped their desks for overalls, paintbrushes and rollers to help decorate part of the Pathway Project's premises.
The volunteering day follows the development of close links between the landlord and Pathway Project.
Tracey Silk, community engagement officer at Platform Housing Group, said:
"We were really pleased to be able to support Pathway in a practical way.
"The work the charity does for people affected by domestic abuse is incredibly important – and we know that having a welcoming and positive environment can make a real difference for the people who use and work from the space.
"Our colleagues were proud to give their time and energy to help refresh the premises, and we look forward to continuing our relationship with Pathway."
