Volunteers have been thanked for their work to make the first Lichfield Blues and Jazz Festival go off with a bang.
Crowds turned out for the event which saw international and local musicians rub shoulders in the city centre.

There were also jazz workshops and an art display in the Guildhall.
Lichfield Arts president Brian Pretty said: “The first Lichfield Blues and Jazz Festival went very well.
“We could not have hoped for better weather, better bands or more attentive and enthusiastic audiences.
“Lichfield Arts prides itself on providing high quality music, and performance opportunities for local people, and the festival certainly delivered that.
“We would like to thank the many musicians who played so well for us, and as always, we are indebted as always to the volunteers that give up many hours to make the festival happen.”
