POLICE are warning of potential disruption during a planned protest in Shenstone.

Activists are planning to attend Lynn Lane at the entrance to Birch Brook Industrial Estate from 2pm to 4pm on Saturday (26th July).

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said:

“At this stage it is unknown how many will be attending, but in the event of a road closure on Lynn Lane due to concerns for public safety, drivers are advised to access Birch Brook Industrial Estate or Oakhurst Court via the Stonnall end of Lynn Lane or Ashcroft Lane.”

The action is the latest protest at the site where campaigners say engines are made for military drones used by Israel.
