PASSENGERS using the West Coast Main Line from Lichfield Trent Valley are being warned of disruption over two weekends in October.
Network Rail is carrying out track renewals between Rugby and Stafford and will see no trains on the stretch between the two stations.
It will see services disrupted on 10th, 11th, 17th and 18th October.
Gary Walsh, Network Rail's West Coast South route director, said:
"The West Coast Main Line is one of Britain's most important railways, carrying millions of passengers and freight every year. Renewing ageing track now will help deliver a more reliable railway with fewer delays for years to come.
"We're grateful to passengers for their patience while this essential work takes place and would encourage anyone travelling to plan ahead and check their journey."
