Gary Birch’s men would have been hoping for the opportunity to take the form from their midweek win over Walsall into the clash with one of their Midland Football League Division One title rivals.
But fourth placed City will get to test themselves again with a local derby at Bolehall Swifts on Tuesday (February 9) before visiting third-placed Leicester Road on Saturday.
