Families living in Lichfield and Burntwood are being reminded that there’s plenty of local fun to be had during half-term.
Visit Lichfield – Lichfield District Council’s tourism arm – has launched a new feature on its website so that people can find details of how to keep little ones busy.
Holiday Fun will showcase highlights including:
- Lichfield Bower on May 27.
- Free Trench Tours at the Staffordshire Regiment Museum on May 27.
- Bloodthirsty Lichfield walking tours for children on May 29.
- Rainy Day Guarantee at Drayton Manor Theme Park from May 25 to June 2.
Councillor Val Richards, Cabinet Member for leisure and tourism, said: “We have a useful events calendar on our Visit Lichfield website that lists hundreds of events that take place across the district throughout the year.
“However, we know that busy families often want to find out what is going on over each school holiday quickly, which is why we’ve created a brand new holiday events listing on the website, so visitors can now quickly see what is available over the school break.”
