Ethan Kelly top scored for Whittington with 55, while the visitors saw Sachin Patel the pick of their bowlers with figures of 4-39.
The task looked an uphill one for West Bromwich Dartmouth when they lost two wickets with just three runs on the board.
A third fell with the score on just 18 to leave things looking perilous, but Patel capped a fine day for himself as he hit 107 not out off just 120 balls to guide his side past the target for the loss of just five wickets.
