A FRESH appeal has been launched after a man was seriously injured in a crash at Longdon Green.
The incident happened on the A51 at around 8pm on 23rd November and involved a blue Mini Countryman and a silver Mazda MX-5.
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said:
“The driver of the Mazda, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital and remains there in a critical condition. The driver of the Mini, a man in his 50s, sustained serious injuries but has been discharged from hospital.
“We are particularly keen to speak to any witnesses that may have seen the silver Mazda MX5 travelling on the A51 Stafford Road between the roundabout at the junction of the A51, A515 and Longdon Green.
Anyone with information, particularly those with CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage of the area at the time, is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident 590 of 23rd November, or email investigators directly via ciu@staffordshire.police.uk.
