A woman has been found dead in a Lichfield hotel.
Police and paramedics were called to the Premier Inn in the city centre at around 1.20pm this afternoon (June 4) where the 28-year-old’s body was found in a room.
Police say the woman’s family have been informed.
A spokesperson added: “The death is being treated as unexplained and a post-mortem examination will take place in due course.
“Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the death.”
