A SPECIAL screening night will showcase the work of two talented young filmmakers.
The Lichfield Arts event will take place at the Lichfield Garrick on 25th September.
It will feature Exodus, a gritty post-apocalyptic zombie horror written and directed by 21-year-old Alfie Johnson, alongside Eclipsia: Dominion, a dystopian sci-fi thriller written and directed by 22-year-old Harry Rodgers.
The pieces have been created with the support of a wider network of local creative talent, with Lichfield Arts connecting them with actors and make-up artists, while filming took place across a range of local locations.
Following each screening, audiences will have the opportunity to hear more about the films during question and answer sessions with the filmmakers, cast and crew.
Tim Perks, from Lichfield Arts Emerging Talent, said:
"We’re really proud to be able to give Alfie and Harry the opportunity to see their films screened at the Garrick and to share their work with a local audience.
"Both have put an enormous amount of time, creativity and commitment into their films, and the night will give audiences a chance to hear about what goes on behind the scenes and how these projects came together."
The screenings get underway at 7.30pm. Tickets are £10 and can be booked on the Lichfield Garrick website.
