WORK has been completed on a refurbishment of flats in Lichfield to help those in need of temporary accommodation.

The work was carried out by Cardo Group as part of a link-up with Lichfield District Council.

As well as completing the project to convert two flats into five, the development company also donated vouchers to the new tenants to help them settle in.

Leigh Bullock, managing director of Cardo, said:

“Our team has worked tirelessly to make sure that this project not only meets local housing needs but creates a space where people can thrive.

“It’s incredibly rewarding to know that these homes will provide a safe and welcoming space for those who need it most, especially around Christmas time.

“Cardo aims to leave a positive, lasting impact that extends beyond the building process. We’re grateful for the opportunity to support local causes and strengthen our ties with the people who make our community so special.”

The company also donated a Christmas tree to Lichfield District Council which sits outside the local authority’s offices.
