A service will be held at the National Memorial Arboretum to remember those who carried out special operations in Burma during the Second World War.
It will take place between 2pm and 3.15pm on Saturday (19th August) at the Chindits Memorial.
A spokesperson said:
“There will be wreath laying at both the Chindit and Burma Star Memorial and the bugles from The Waterloo Band of The Rifles.
“Standards will be paraded by members of The Royal British Legion.”a
