The worrying number of shops shutting in the city continues to grow after the Lichfield Needlecraft Centre has closed down.
The store, on Tamworth Street, sold embroidery items as well as carrying out sewing machine repairs.
A note on the door of the premises pointed visitors to insolvency experts Irwin & Co of Sutton Coldfield and added:
Due to circumstances beyond our control, this shop is now closed.

Unfortunately, more and more craft shops seem to be closing their doors. Buying off the internet is great for some things, but there are lots of items where you just can’t tell what it’s like unless you can see it in real life!. I glad your store re-opened.
