Kyle Perry
Former Chasetown FC striker Kyle Perry has signed for Mansfield Town. Perry signed a two-year deal with the Blue Square Premier side after missing out on a new contract at Port Vale. The 23-year-old had been at Vale Park since his performances for Chasetown against Vale had impressed then manager Lee Sinnott enough to take him to the Potteries. But despite making 33 appearances at the club, he fell out of favour under Sinott’s now departed successor Dean Glover and spent part of last season on loan at Northwich Town. Perry told Mansfield Town’s website:
“There were a few clubs who I had spoken to, but the people here at Mansfield sold it to me. There seems to be a fantastic buzz around the place.”
