A business based near Lichfield has gone into administration.

A statement on the Reynolds Boughton website confirmed a buyer was being sought for the Barton-under-Needwood company.

The business, which was founded in 1897, manufactures waste transportation vehicles.

The statement added:

“Graham Paul Bushby and Guy Edward Brooke Mander were appointed Joint Administrators to manage the business, affairs and property of the Companies.”

The company began life developing vehicles for agriculture, forestry and transport, before developing transport for the military during World War 2.
