Fradley-based Sutton Coldfield Radio Controlled Aero Club (SCRCAC) has celebrated its 50th anniversary with a fly-in event.

Near-perfect weather conditions enabled an entertaining display of flying models from a wide range of types to take to the skies at the event on August 9.

It also provided the opportunity for many members to renew acquaintance and reminisce with old friends.

An excellent attendance of pilots, models and spectators ensured that a good time was had by all and the club’s chairman Steve Mallender thanked all contributors for their generosity and hard work in making the event so successful.
