An appeal has been launched to find volunteers to help at Staffordshire’s biggest free community arts festival.
The Fuse Festival takes place at Beacon Park in Lichfield between July 8 and 10 and with more than 20,000 people enjoying the mix of music and and arts last year, the logistics of staging the event have increased massively.
Lichfield Arts, the organisation behind Fuse, are now looking for people to act as stewards during the event and help with fundraising in the run up to it.
Tim Perks, Fuse Festival director, said:
“The Fuse Festival promises something for everyone. We have high quality musicians and performers, workshop tents where everyone can have a go at something new, food and craft stalls, an arts tent, and a great atmosphere, and in today’s climate of cuts to arts funding, it is still a free event, and we can promise audiences new music and experiences that they would not get from anywhere else.”
Lichfield Arts are also seeking sponsorship from local business and individuals and applications are also being taken from local bands and individuals to perform in the acoustic tent.
