PROPOSALS to convert a storage building into a hair salon have been approved.

The scheme was submitted to Lichfield District Council for a site at 3 Plantation Lane in Hopwas.

A planning statement said the new salon was likely to serve three or four customers on weekdays and two or three on Saturdays.

“The business will be operated solely by the applicant, who will work independently without employing additional staff.

“Appointments will be made on a one-to-one basis, with no more than two clients on-site
at any one time.”

Full details on the application can be found on Lichfield District Council’s planning website.
