PLANS to build nine assisted living properties in Fazeley have been approved.
The development has been earmarked for land off Lichfield Street and also includes the demolition of a bungalow currently on the plot.
The proposals will see three separate buildings constructed, two for accommodation and the other as a detached staff office.
A planning statement said:
“The existing dwelling on the site is of low build quality with many areas of the structure requiring remediation work.
“The proposal responds to the site constraints by providing a high-quality assisted living development which will make a positive contribution to the local supply of assisted living accommodation and also remain in keeping with the surrounding area.”
Full details can be seen on Lichfield District Council’s planning website.
