Shenstone Library is set to welcome best-selling author Jim Crace.
He will be talking about his latest book, All That Follows, on May 19 from 7.30pm.
A spokesperson for the Birmingham-based author said:
“As an author, Jim Crace has enjoyed great success in both Britain and United States and his he is the prize-winning author of nine previous books, including Continent (winner of the 1986 Whitbread First Novel Award and the Guardian Fiction Prize), Quarantine (winner of the 1998 Whitbread Novel of the Year and shortlisted for the Booker Prize) and Being Dead (winner of the 2001 National Book Critics Circle Award).”
County Councillor for Lichfield Rural South, Erica Bayliss, added:
“This is an excellent opportunity for readers and readers’ group to meet an best-selling author and talk about his life and work.”
