Barton United were beaten 3-2 at Stockton in the Birmingham Vase.
The Midland Combination Division Two side will now turn their attentions to another knockout competition when they travel to Sutton United Reserves in the Fazeley Charity Cup.
The game – on November 24 – kicks off at 1.30pm.
