A FRUSTRATING start to the season continued for Lichfield Hockey Club's men as they went down 5-0 at Loughborough Students 3rds.
The game was tight for the first three quarters, with chances for both sides.
Lichfield could – and perhaps should – have taken the lead, but the crucial finishing touch seems to have deserted them so far this season.
Going into the final quarter, the scores were still blank, but the wheels well and truly came off in the final stages as the floodgates opened and an even game soon turned into a one-sided one.
