Another strong field is expected as the Florette Fradley 10K race returns.

This year’s race, organised by Lichfield-based KP Events, will take place on March 11.

Entrants have been warned to book their place early as a sell-out event is expected.

“Last year the field was the biggest ever and we realised that the maximum field of 800 had to now be set on that course using the facilities we currently use,” explained Kevin Wilson from KP Events. “If we want to be bigger still we’d need to look at the route and the provision of extra facilities and that may not be the best outcome.

“Anyone considering taking part in 2012 should register now via www.kpevents.net.”

Further information on the event can also be found on the website or by calling race secretary Paul Griffin on 07947698147.
