A brave effort from Barton United wasn’t enough as they were knocked out of the Les James Challenge Cup.
The Midland Combination Division Two side were not outclassed by Premier Division opponents Pelsall Villa in the 1-0 defeat.
Barton will look to take the positives from the result when they travel to Clements 83 in the league next Saturday (November 10).
