A BURNTWOOD fighter is hoping for plenty of local support when she returns to the ring.

Naomi Powis will take on Jojo Callaghan in the bout at Cannock Leisure Centre on 21st March.

The combat ace – who has won titles in both kickboxing and boxing – said she was keen to see strong backing when she steps through the ropes on fight night.

She said:

“I’m going head-to-head with a strong, dangerous opponent – this one is going to be war.

“It’s local to home so I need the support to be louder than ever.”
