Streetdance classes for women are launching in Burntwood.
The month of sessions will take place on Wednesdays from 4.45pm to 5.45pm at Burntwood Leisure Centre for 16 to 25-year-olds and costs 50p a session.
The classes will include a range of hip hop dances to street music. Jenni Williams, Lichfield District Council’s positive futures officer, said: “As part of the Us Girls initiative, we’re running this class to encourage more young women to get into sport and exercise.
“Dancing is so great because it’s loads of fun and a brilliant aerobic workout.”
Young Women’s Streetdance will start on August 1 and run each week until September 5 and there is no need to book.
