IN-FORM Hammerwich continued their perfect start to the season with a 46-run over Tamworth 2nds.
The Hammers were sent in to bat first on Bank Holiday Monday and saw an unbeaten 79 from Callum Brodrick help them to 170-2.
A revised target due to the weather saw the visitors require 226 from 30 overs.
But despite scoring steadily, Tamworth were bowled out for 179.
Brodrick was the pick of the Hammerwich bowlers after finishing with figures of 3-27.
