THE cast has been confirmed for an upcoming production of The Sound of Music in Lichfield.
The Garrick will host the Lichfield Operatic Society show from 15th to 19th September.
After two days of auditions, Samantha Hedley has landed the role of Maria while Cameron Morgan will play Captain von Trapp.
The children will be played by Martha Tomlinson, Rosie Pilling, Stanley Pugh, Elliot McDonagh, Sophie Tomlinson, Eva Walters, Aria Morgan, Dotty Shipton, Annalise Cox and Robyn Johnson.
Other roles have gone to Shannon Robinson as Liesl, Leo Foetu-Foster as Rolf, Kate Pilling as Elsa, Hein Hemke as Max and David Hill as Franz. Dawn Welch will play Mother Abbess, Jude Pick will be Friedrich, Rebecca Bowley takes the role of Sister Berthe, Heather Bustin is Sister Margaretta, Lucy Averis will be Sister Sophia, Lynne Hill plays Frau Schmidt, John Johnson is Baron Elberfield and Ben Green stars as Herr Zeller.
