HAMMERWICH clocked up the runs at home as they got the better of Walsall.
The hosts opted to bat first, but lost Ben Novis (1) in the second over.
But Imran Qadir and Callum Brodrick struck 125 and 162 respectively to move the Hammers to 323 by the time they were both removed.
However, Walsall did experience some joy as the innings went on to restrict Hammerwich to 353-8.
The visitors did make a good fist of chasing down the target, helped by a half-century from Dilraj Sohal and a knock of 106 by Daniel Betty.
But Hammerwich held their nerve to skittle them out for 312.
John Jennings was the pick of the home bowlers with figures of 3-54.
