NOMINATIONS are set to open for an awards scheme honouring local carers.
The Dignity in Care Awards are now in their 12th year and celebrate the “compassion and dedication” by those who carry out the role either professionally or unpaid.
Staffordshire County Council is calling on families, friends, colleagues and adult care professionals to nominate carers.
Cllr Martin Rogerson, cabinet member for health and care, said:
“Across Staffordshire, we see remarkable individuals and teams who show compassion, respect and genuine kindness every single day.
“The Dignity in Care Awards are our opportunity to recognise those who consistently go above and beyond to make sure people are treated as individuals, listened to and supported to live the lives they value.”
Nominations open on 1st April. Full details are available on the Dignity in Care Awards website.
