Libraries in Lichfield, Burntwood and Shenstone are set to host a series of events to celebrate Adult Learners Week.
Running from May 18 to 25, the event aims to help people experience new skills and opportunities.
Janene Cox, from Staffordshire County Council, explained: “We are fully committed to supporting this great festival of lifelong learning.
“Whether you’re looking at gaining new skills to improve your current job prospects, learning a new craft, or having a go at something just for fun, this is a great opportunity to go into your local library and try something new.”
Among the events on offer at Lichfield Library are two free writing workshops on May 18, a clay workshop on May 20 and a session to help you get to grips with your gadgets on May 23.
There will also be a cupcake demonstration on May 24 and a local author coffee morning on the following day.
Youngsters will be in for a treat at Burntwood Library with a Heuristic Play taster session and a chance for adults to learn the art of face painting on May 22.
There’s also the chance to try out quilting in a session at Shenston Library on May 24.
