CHASETOWN secured a hard-fought 2-1 win over Halesowen Town in their pre-season clash.
After a slow start, the hosts grew into the game with dangerous attacks from George Cater, Ty Webster and Sam Wilding creating several first-half chances.
The breakthrough eventually came when Wilding netted after 21 minutes.
Halesowen’s Jason Cowley struck the post early in the second half, but then equalised with ten minutes on the clock.
Chasetown were able to hit back though and secured the win when Jack Langston converted a penalty late on.
