Chasetown FC have made a Christmas donation of £1,200 to the club’s nominated charity, the Grenadier Guards Colonel’s Fund.
The presentation was made at half-time during their win over Burscough at the Scholars Ground.
Chasetown FC Chief Executive Mike Joiner presented the cheque to former Grenadier Guard and ex-Chasetown manager Mervyn Rowe and his colleague, ex-Grenadier Guards Sergeant Brian Gillon.
The donation takes the total raised for the charity by Chasetown FC to over £8,000.
