Chasetown FC’s FA Trophy heroics have seen them rewarded with a quarter final home clash with either Mansfield Town or Alfreton Town.
The Scholars saw off Eastleigh 3-1 to book their place in the last eight and will now wait to see the outcome of the replay tomorrow night (February 8) to decide who they will face on February 26.
Both sides will provide another test for Charlie Blakemore’s giant-killers, with Alfreton riding high in third spot in the Blue Square North, while the Stags are tenth in the Blue Square Premier.
Should Mansfield win through the replay, the game would see Chasetown striker Grant Ryan entertain his old club at the Scholars Ground.
Blakemore’s men avoided a possible return to Blyth Spartans, a club they defeated in their historic FA Cup run, along with a trip to former Football League club Darlington.
