Chasetown FC has scooped a £10,000 prize to help them renovate their Scholars Ground home.
Fans have been voting for the past month as the Scholars went up against four other clubs in the Evo-Stik League makeover competition.
In the end it came down to a straight battle between Chasetown and local rivals Rushall Olympic, but a margin of two per cent helped them win the prize.
A statement from the club said:
“Chasetown FC would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who took the time to cast a vote – given the closeness of the final result, every vote really did count.”
Chasetown will be looking to make it a double success this evening when they travel to Alvechurch in the Birmingham Senior Cup, kick-off 7.45pm.
