A LOCAL chess group has checked in at a new venue.
Lichfield Chess Club has switched its Monday sessions to The Kings Head on Bird Street.
The move has also allowed the club to use a large screen to illustrate games and improve training possibilities.
Lichfield Chess Club is one of the largest in the Midlands and also meets at Lichfield Guildhall on Thursdays from September to April.
