A Lichfield city centre street will get a vintage makeover for a one-off event.
Bird Street will be taken back in time with cocktail bars, dance demos, vintage cars and live music on October 27.

The George Hotel and Erasmus Darwin House will both house an array of entertainment and organiser Lucy Grove-Hemmings admits organisations have been keen to join in the fun.
“Our two main venues have been wonderful to work for to bring this event to the street,” she explained. “They have been incredibly supportive and just embraced the whole idea right from the start.”
As well as the live entertainment there will also be clothing, handmade goods, a vintage hair salon and a tea room on offer.
Bird Street will be closed to traffic one the day with classic vehicles taking pride of place. There is still chance for owners of historic vehicles to join the fun by emailing lucy@blue-strawberry.net.
Organisers are also remaining tight-lipped about plans for a special event at 1pm on the day, insisting visitors will need to go along to find out.
The vintage shopping day runs between 10am and 6pm on October 27.
