PARTNERSHIPS with a local sports club have been highlighted at a networking event.
The Chasetown Football Club Business Network event welcomed Lichfield MP Dave Robertson and Cllr Robin Hall during its latest session.
Hosted by the club’s general manager Peter Bailey, attendees heard about how collaboration with local businesses has helped expand community work carried out by The Scholars.
Peter said:
“We have had members of staff from Cost Cutters join us as we deliver sessions in local care homes – their visits have been a breath of fresh air for residents.
“Even just coming along to meet new people gives elderly residents new memories, and it’s clear how much those moments mean to them.”
The next Chasetown FC Business Network event will take place in June.
